HUNTING PERMITS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. There is no anticipated start date for scouting, early resident goose, or early urban archery.

Bowhunting Qualfications for the 2024-25 Season have begun!

Be sure to bring licenses, permits, IBEP (if you did not hunt at Fort Belvoir last year), Access Pass (CAC, MIL ID, Visitors Pass), UXO certificate (if you did not hunt at Fort Belvoir last year).  Do not sent documents before qualifying. Present documents at time of qualification.

Qualifications take place at Bldg 780, 10101 Johnston Rd where the outdoor Broadhead Range is located.  Qualifications take place Tuesdays/Thursday 1730-1930, and Saturdays/Sundays 0800-1600, depending upon volunteer availability.  The following are approved dates: 9/5, 9/10, 9/12, 9/17, 9/19, 9/24, 9/26, 10/1, 10/3.
